I understand that no pets are allowed in the premises. I understand that no smoking is allowed. I understand that no decorating, painting, or wallpapering is allowed. I understand that all deposits are retained by Lessor as liquidated damages and are not returned if I am accepted and fail or refuse to execute the lease. I authorize Cedre Residences to obtain a credit report and information necessary to verify my employment and credit history. Subletting is permitted; however, Lessor retains the right of refusal for potential subleases who do not meet tenant criteria. Subletting does not release or terminate this lease. I acknowledge I will pay all electric and cable charges directly to the utility companies except when additional rent is specified. If I relinquish possession before the lease expires, I remain responsible for all rent until the lease ends or the unit is re-rented, plus a fee equal to one month's rent. Re-rental does not release or terminate the lease.
